About Dr. Ahmed
Dr. Ahmed Fathy Amin Ismail Al-Shiep is a highly experienced Consultant of Urology with more than two decades of dedicated clinical, academic, and surgical experience. Throughout his career, he has built a distinguished reputation for delivering high-quality urological care, combining evidence-based medicine with a patient-centered approach.
His professional journey began after graduating from the Faculty of Medicine at Suez Canal University in 2002, where he continued his residency and specialist training in urology before obtaining a Master’s Degree in Urology in 2010. In 2019, he successfully completed the Egyptian Fellowship in Urology, followed by the Harvard University Training of Trainers (T2T Egypt) Program in 2021 and a Diploma in Hospital Management from Zagazig University in 2022.
Dr. Ahmed has served in leading university, governmental, teaching, and private hospitals across Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This diverse experience has enabled him to manage a broad spectrum of urological conditions while continuously refining his surgical expertise and clinical decision-making.
He currently serves as the Head of the Urology Department at Zagazig Public Hospital, in addition to his role as Consultant of Urology at both Zagazig Public Hospital and Zagazig Insurance Hospital. He is also an official Trainer for the Egyptian Fellowship of Urology, actively contributing to the education and mentorship of future generations of urologists.
His areas of professional expertise include General Urology, Endo-Urology, Urological Surgery, Andrology, Male Reproductive Health, Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), and comprehensive perioperative urological care. Every patient receives an individualized treatment plan based on careful clinical assessment, current international medical standards, and evidence-based practice.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Ahmed has remained deeply committed to continuous professional development. He has participated in numerous national and international scientific meetings organized by the Egyptian Urological Association, the European Association of Urology, the Emirates International Urological Conference, and other respected medical organizations. This ongoing engagement ensures that his clinical practice reflects the latest developments and innovations in modern urology.
